About me
Hi, my name is Cruzito Jimenez, and I am currently a student at the University of Nevada, Reno. I created this website for a project in my IS101 course, but I also see it as a space to highlight who I am, what drives me, and the goals I have been and currently still working towards.
Background
I was born in Oregon and eventually as an infant my parents moved to California for about 12 years where eventually we decided to move to Nevada and start a life in Battle Mountain. I grew up with a strong sense of ambition and curiosity and in high school I always wanted to learn more and improve myself. Those values continue to guide me throughout high school where I graduated as salutatorian, with the second-highest academic rank. Now as of today I work through college, strengthen my skill, and explore new opportunities to create my own life to provide for my family.

Work and Experience
Although I am still early in my professional journey, I have done construction/landscaping all four of my years in high school. Now besides the normal experiences in this field that would be on my resume they are different type of people to hang out with in a very funny way. They taught me how to trash talk, interact with people, and keep the day going so the day seems faster than it was. Although not the best people or the average joe they are hilarious and gave me a perspective of the workforce that I will never see as a engineer. This summer I had an internship with the engineers, and they are two different forces. Although different experiences those opportunities push me to grow.
